  1. Nov 04,  · The mention of Sugar (and Picasso Trigger) makes me recall Mercyland, David Barbe's underappreciated band. Their post-"Copper Blue" Rykodisc CD stayed in print for a year or so; it's called "Spillage." They also did an album for Southern called "No Feet on the Cowling." Good stuff. Their original drummer, Harry, once gave me a Blow Monkeys T-shirt.
  2. I'm still very fond of Picasso Trigger's Bipolar Cowboy--super-nasty spitty post-hardcore collision time revisited! ― Douglas (Douglas), Saturday, 4 November (thirteen years ago) link Picasso Trigger was great!
  3. Picasso Trigger Biography by John Bush + Follow Artist. The North Carolina indie punk band Picasso Trigger was formed in by vocalist Kathy Poindexter, guitarist Lisa Cooper, and bassist Samuel Mintu. The trio used several drummers during the early '90s.
  4. Bipolar Cowboy is, in almost every respect, a more lo-fi and punk-influenced release than most of the band's earlier work. By featuring the band's angular, scratchy side (and dropping some of the Southern riff-rock leanings that hampered Fire in the Hole), the record asks to be taken much more seriously than other releases, creating a trashier, more Southern counterpart to the riot grrrl acts 6/
  5. Nov 12,  · First started with a Picasso 3 inch Then a month later added a 2 inch clown trigger. My Picasso automatically started chasing and picking away. I freaked out and decided to make a small hut or new shelter for the clown.. couple days go by of good monitoring and feeding. things turned out smoothly. My 3rd and final fish was a triangular trigger.
  6. Please call me stupid. I bid (and sadly won) what I believe to be ALL of the "alternative" Picasso Trigger CD's in one lot. T'aint, Bipolar Cowboy and Fire In The Hole. It's bad, very bad. Fortunately I paid very little for them, but here's another warning about it just in case, like me you didn't read far enough back on the comments here.
  7. T'ain't is the step between the aggressive riff-rock of Picasso Trigger's Fire in the Hole! and the more focused, angular and low-fi LP Bipolar Cowboy -- on this six-track EP, the band drops some of the trashy Southern rock influences that hampered the former and develops the scratchy, more punk-oriented aggression of the latter.
  8. Directed by Andy Sidaris. With Steve Bond, Dona Speir, Hope Marie Carlton, Harold Diamond. After his brother got eliminated in Hard Ticket to Hawaii (), a crime lord triggers a ruthless hunt against all agents responsible, and the remaining agents will have to avenge their fallen comrades.
