  2. Very strong, and by far the best Dick Bock-produced album by Baker. This was recorded after Chet's return from his European tour of /56; Russ Freeman had left the quartet before that tour, for which Baker then recruited Dick Twardzik. After Twardzik's death and Chet's return to the United States, producer Dick Bock arranged this session.
  3. Sadly, the young pianist with the quartet, Dick Twardzik, wasn't long for this earth. He died October 21 of that year. This cd presents a welcome addition to the Twardzik trio material previously available on the Pacific label and the Chet in Paris Vol. 1 material featuring Twardzik previously available on 4/5(2).
